Säve, as the originator of the current Plan, and as a Maskmaker, hypothesized that those celestial bodies could be outfitted with Masks colossally larger than one intended for a Human face, which could be subsequently Charmed, yielding a proportionally colossally more powerful effect. The industry of the world turned to constructing a Mask for the Moon, which was at last completed just days ago, and is ready to be Charmed.

The Cenotaph, which was previously accessible only via a tunnel from underneath Goodbye House, has been exposed to the open air and surrounded by these Spires, studded with inward-facing Charmed Artifacts, commissioned of Cræfters the land over, that amplify its range. With enough amplification Artifacts, the idea goes, the Moon itself can be considered “on top of” the Cenotaph for the purposes of a Charm ritual. This was confirmed by Charming a series of Artifacts on the surface of the Moon, which after some experimentation with positioning and timing was found to work just fine.

(There was also a faction that argued for hauling the Cenotaph itself to the Moon, and placing it upside-down on the surface, in order for the Moon to be “on top of” it. But it was considered unbearably risky to do anything to the Cenotaph itself, lest it stop working.)
