You feel like you have looked away from a captivating Book after days of reading and, all at once, felt reality fwooshing back into your Mind. Hwoooooooo, like.

This time you readily but gently extricate yourself from the Pattern’s smooth, almost-tacky Beams, and begin to pick your way through the Room to a Door, previously absent or at least undiscovered.

The Door, you can just barely tell in the dimth, is a sturdy wooden number. It bears a sturdy metal number in its center: “1”.
