Step Hesitantly Toward Big Project
You manage to get a foot or so closer to the Work-Desk. The Desk is a bright wood made lustrous and proudly scratchy from years of hard work by you, your sister Fen who used it before you, and its previous owners. The Project is a cascade of dark green and gray fabric, meticulously patterned — as that is, of course, your way. You see the Cuff that needs reinforcing, the Frill that still does not ruffle right, the Lace that needs to be ripped off and resewn. This Project has reached the point where there are several Tasks that obviously need to be done, and several Problems that need to be evaluated. None of them is clearly what needs to be done next. The combination of them makes you feel a bit overwhelmed and weary.
