Go Somewhen Else

You experience the opposite of an out-of-body experience, once again. You’re Anise Vanda. But you’re not at Goodbye House. You’re on the grounds of some sort of outrageous, vertically-oriented Palace. The thing seems to heave upwards, architecturally, to the Heavens.

Wait

Goodbye House is right over there. Humble inside this outrageous Palace. A ways from it is a sort of elaborately ornamented Pit. The ground all around it is tiled with vivid, mathematical-looking mosaic patterns, which follow the edges of the Pit down as far as your eye can follow from here. Reaching upward from the Pit are a number of Spires, tiled with the same mosaic and lumpy with an omnium gatherum of attached objects.

The Palace itself is walled with complexly interlocking stones. The whole environment appeals directly to your appreciation of intricacy. You suspect that you may have had something to do with its design.
